Everything you need to know about the 2023 Vancouver UX Awards

Questions and answers to get you ready for Wednesday's show on March 29th.

We're 2 days away from the 2023 Vancouver UX Awards, and we've compiled a list of questions and answers to get you prepared for the show. Oh, don't forget to buy your tickets!

When should I arrive?

The doors open at 6, and we'd suggest arriving as soon as you can after 6. First come, first serve on the food, and the socializing prior to the event will be great. The venue closes down at 1am. We'll start taking the items down at 11pm.

What's the agenda for the evening?

We're going to do our best to follow our agenda as tightly as possible. Here is a high level idea of what the night will look like:

6:00 - 7:00 - Pre-show

7:00 - 8:25 - Introduction, Joe Buffalo and Femke van Schoonhoven

8:25 - 8:35 - Break

8:35 - 10:00 - Awards

10:00 - Close - Socialize

What's the dress code?

Have fun with it! It's an Awards Gala, so definitely safer to be on the dressier side. We'd suggest a minimum nice jeans and a collared shirt, but we know of a few people that'll be wearing suits.

Are the Vancouver UX Awards an all ages event?

Nope. The event is hosted at 19+ venue.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, but we'd prefer if you don't. Please do your best to plan at least 1 day ahead and buy tickets in advance. It greatly helps our volunteers with organization of the event.

What are the food options?

We've got Vegetarian, Vegan and Meat options in a Canapé style format. There won't be much for table seating available, so be mindful of your knees and elbows!

What's the seating like?

We have enough seating for roughly 200, with the first rows reserved for finalists. There is plenty of standing room options available.

A special shout out to EY

We also want to take the time to highlight our showcase sponsor, EY, who stepped up to the plate and supported us as the main event sponsor. Thank you EY!

Tickets are now on sale!

It's show time. Tickets are now available in single and group options.
