Awards Day (March 29) venue - Hollywood Theatre

Located in the heart of Kitslano on Vancouver’s West Side, Hollywood Theatre served as a classic art deco movie theatre from 1935 to 2011. With extensive renovation completed in 2020, the theatre is now equipped with modern technology while maintaining its classic style. The theatre offers exceptional views from anywhere, allowing you to enjoy the festivities while standing near the bar, or up close and personal in the theater seating.

Food will be served throughout the evening, and alcohol drinks available for purchase at the bar. The theatre can accommodate up to 500 guests.

Demo Day (March 28) venue - BCIT Tech Collider

‍

Centered in the heart of downtown Vancouver’s technology and business district, the BCIT Tech Collider is a next-generation learning centre and event space. The venue is equipped with enhanced AV technology, which provides powerful opportunities to engage an audience, and innovative ways to interact with content.

‍

Demo Day is a great opportunity for you to come out and learn more about the great work done by other industry professionals, and share your work with them. With the advanced technology at the collider, we believe your experience will be even more pleasant.

Food and drinks are available on Demo Day, with the capacity of hosting 350 guests.

We are accepting submissions for the 2023 Vancouver UX Awards. Your work will be evaluated by the following criterias:

• Strategy
• Impact
• Innovation
• Elegance
• Emotion

All award submissions will be judged by an independently chosen panel of seasoned UX veterans, representing different sectors of the UX industry.
